Month in Review - September - Guys, mostly
Month in review.
Hmm. I think Guys was the worst offense of the series thus far - filled with trite and unnecessary characters and “homages” to other independent comics. (I’m sorry, this isn’t about those comics, it’s just that they did not add anything to a story that was 99% crap. Boring. Shit.)

Cerebus #225 “Rick's Story, part 6”
Rick’s Story has changed to a parable, Biblical-style, the Gospel of Cerebus, is you will. Cerebus is going batty arguing with himself, part of him wants to leave, without Rick, and the other part feels that Rick is too vulnerable, that the world would destroy him if left on his own.

Well, I do have to say that, unlike GUYS, RICK’S STORY has a lot of promise – already in 3 issues, we’ve had more story and character development than in all of GUYS.

Cerebus gets Bear to read the Graphic Read, but Bear doesn’t like it as much as Cerebus did. So he gets Prince Mick and Harrison to read it, but they like it for different reasons, and Cerebus sulks, tearing up his Dandy Don hat.
